G.E.O.D.E.S.
GEODES (ge'-odz), noun.
- Geologists Embarking On Dangerours Expedtions for Science
- A group of students who share an interest in the study of the planet earth,
the materials of which it is made, the products formed, and the history of the
planet and its life forms since its origin. We enjoy field trips to museums or to collect and or study
earth materials in their natural setting. We also enjoy watching slide shows,
videos, and guest speakers at our meetings. And we have parties...
Anyone sharing our common interest is welcome to join our geology club.
The Main Event for the G.E.O.D.E.S. club is our annual extended spring field
trip, usually for a week or more following graduation at the end of the
year.
